Interval Running with my Tri Club
This was a hard workout tonight. I was led into a false sense of security by opening with a nice gentle paced jog to warm up, sadly after that it was bloody hard work. I’m not quite sure why I found it so hard tonight, I felt like I pushed as hard as I could so maybe this was the cause, perhaps I have not been pushing hard enough in my other training sessions. There were 2 points when I really felt i might be sick and was grateful for the end of that section, only to then go off and do another harder part. Overall I can see the benefit on interval running and speed work as my other runs are getting better week on week, its just a shame they hurt me so :)
